This half-armor was made for the duke of Epernon, but i am not sure which one, Jean Louis de Nogaret de La Valette or his sone. Probably it was made for father, favotite Henry's polititian and inspirator of Duma (besides, in the year of armor forging his sone was in age of 14).

Armor of Anne de Montmorency.
This armor was made for Anne de Montmorency (and yes, he is a man) in 1550 in France. He was born in ancient family at Chantilly anhe was close to king Francis I since childhood. He was a captain of the Bastilia. De Montmorency faught against German army and commanded Swiss troops in Italy. He was failed in diplomacy and fell out of royal favor. New king Henry II created him a duke after several successfull battles. Than he was defeated, captured and gave up Great Master status. He formed Triumvirate with his former enemy Francis, Duke of Guise and Jacques d'Albon (Marshal Saint-Andre) for the defense of Catholicism. In de Montmorency led the royal army to victory in the Battle of Saint-Denis against Huguenots, but was himself fatally wounded and died in Paris after two days.
Now in Invalides, Paris.
